Art and creating has always been a part of my life. I've always focused on the intrinsic motivation of painting, it becomes the way I interpret ideas I have about myself and the world around me. 

As an artist I've always been interested in nature and the feelings it evokes and the designs it reveals.  I find great pleasure in exploring: a winding creek, a waterfall or a field under a sunset to capture the moment through creating.

I use the process of painting to further my emotional response by selection of color, composition and brushwork to recreate the essence of the scene.
